I’ve often found myself torn about whether to fully commit to my Etsy shop. Initially, I ventured into creating physical products, but they didn’t generate any sales. I then experimented with a few digital products, which resulted in two sales. I also dabbled in print-on-demand products without much seriousness, leading to another two sales.
In the past two months, however, I’ve decided to truly focus on my Etsy shop. This wasn’t something I initially planned, but after watching numerous YouTube creators and absorbing their advice, I thought, why not give it a real shot?
1. Consistent Product Uploads
I dedicate at least an hour each day to creating and uploading new products, particularly utilizing the print-on-demand model. Regularly adding new items helps boost visibility, as the algorithm tends to favor active shops. When I don’t upload for a day or two, my views stagnate between 0 and 5. However, when I upload a few products, my views jump to around 25.

2. Leveraging Technology
I’ve invested in a robust AI design tool, Midjourney, to streamline my creative process. I discovered it through a YouTube creator and tested it for a month before committing financially. The tool is incredibly efficient, allowing me to generate designs quickly and effectively by simply writing prompts.

3. Strategic Sales Promotions
Although my shop isn’t new, I hadn’t previously focused on making it successful. My past sales were sporadic, so I’m now running sales more frequently — several times a week — to boost activity. This strategy aims to increase sales and, in turn, encourage the algorithm to promote my shop to a broader audience.
While I’m uncertain if my investment in print-on-demand on Etsy will give the results I’m hoping for, I’m committed to exploring multiple avenues and learning from each experience. Whether this venture leads to success or guides me toward a new path, I’m embracing the journey and the lessons it brings. Only time will tell, but I’m excited to see where this adventure takes me.
